Wilmot Township is a mix of rural and urban areas.

This site addresses some questions:

• When did the first people arrive in Wilmot?
• Where did they come from?
• Along the way were there groups that were displaced and replaced by others?
• What happened during the time between when folks first appeared here and today?
• Who are the people who played significant roles in the evolution of the territory now known as Wilmot Township?
• What issues are of current interest, such as:
  • affordable housing
  • MZOs for residential development?
  • cultural reconciliation
    • The Prime Ministers’ Path Project (red paint or education?)
