Martin, seconded by Councillor K. Wilkinson THAT Report CAO-2024-04 regarding Additional Information Relating to Option 2 Outlined in CAO Report 2024-03, be received as information, and further, THAT Council directs staff to proceed with Option #___ as outlined in CAO Report 2024-03.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chief Administrative Officer, S. Chambers presented the report.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Council asked and received answers from staff regarding the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How will the decision be made on this item<\/li>\n<li>Further engagement options<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following Delegates spoke to Staff Report CAO-2024-04 &#8211; Prime Ministers Path: Additional Information Relating to Option 2 Outlined in CAO Report 2024-03.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kipp<\/li>\n<li>Laepple<\/li>\n<li>Wolfe<\/li>\n<li>Pavey, on behalf of Wilmot Ecumenical Working Group on Indigenous\/Settler Relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Council asked and received answers from staff regarding the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The scope of the original motion<\/li>\n<li>The funding opportunity through the\u00a0Multiculturalism Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A motion was brought forward by Councillor S. Cressman, seconded by Councillor L. Dunstall THAT Council amends the motion to insert 1 after Option #. The motion carried unanimously.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Council now voted on the main motion as amended.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Moved by:<\/strong>Councillor S. Martin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Seconded by:<\/strong>Councillor K. Wilkinson<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">THAT Report CAO-2024-04 regarding Additional Information Relating to Option 2 Outlined in CAO Report 2024-03, be received as information, and further,<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">THAT <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Council directs staff to proceed with Option #1 as outlined in CAO Report 2024-03<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Motion Carried Unanimously&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The author&#8217;s observation is that this motion DOES NOT reflect the direction that voters gave to Council in the last election to RESTART the entire decision-making process of the Prime Ministers Path Project.
