The report was defeated on November 25, 2024, by Council.<\/p>\n

NOTE: last paragraph above, “Members of Council have the same rights of access to information as members of the community.<\/em>“<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

This means that anything the CAO wants to keep secret from the residents and thus Council is at the CAO’s sole whimsical discretion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

NOTE: the first line below has the prescribed direction of “will<\/em>“. This compels a councillor to get permission <\/span>from a CAO or Director, <\/span>and thus the sanitized version of information before acting. [Autocracy: a system of government by one person with absolute power.<\/span>]<\/span><\/h4>\n

REMEMBER: A CAO and all Directors are employees of the corporation, and thus of Council as the executive board.<\/span><\/h4>\n
